Questions
Good to know.
What is iksaath?
iksaath is a free website for housing societies in Jaipur. Neighbours book the same home service on the same day, so one vendor visit covers many flats, and every flat pays less than booking alone.
How much does a flat save?
The price drops as more flats join: 8% with 2 flats, 17% with 3 flats, 25% with 4 flats, 32% with 15 flats, 40% with 30 or more flats. For example, an AC foam-jet service is ₹599 for one flat alone and about ₹360 per AC when 30 flats book together. Home deep cleaning gets half these discounts. Prices shown are estimates; the final price is the vendor's quote for your society.
Which services can a society book together?
Appliances: ac foam-jet service, water purifier service, geyser service, chimney deep service. Cleaning: home deep cleaning, bathroom deep cleaning, sofa cleaning, mattress cleaning, carpet cleaning. Pest control: cockroach control, kitchen & bathrooms, cockroach control, full flat, general pest control, full flat.
Which areas of Jaipur does it cover?
Any housing society in Jaipur can be listed, including societies in Ajmer Road, Bani Park, C-Scheme, Jagatpura, Jhotwara, Malviya Nagar, Mansarovar, Nirman Nagar, Pratap Nagar, Raja Park, Sirsi Road, Sitapura, Tonk Road, Vaishali Nagar and Vidhyadhar Nagar.
How do I start a drive for my society?
Search for your society by name on iksaath.com, or add it if it is not listed. Pick a service and a day and host the drive. It stays listed on your society page, and every neighbour who visits can add their flat. You do not need to gather anyone first.
Do I pay online?
No. Joining a drive is free and is not a binding booking. You pay the vendor directly after the job, at the pooled price.
Who can see my phone number?
Only the host of a drive you join, so they can coordinate the visit. Other residents see flat numbers, and visitors see only how many flats have joined.
I run a home-service business. How do I get society jobs?
Sign up as a vendor at the bottom of iksaath.com. A society drive is a full day of jobs in one place, with no travel between them.
